A lot of people who were previously silent have gotten involved and expressed their views, and although Joyner is offended by this, I think it's quite healthy for democracy. Joyner seems to think of herself as above the fray in the sense that she is able to look down on lesser mortals and judge their flaws, but in reality she is right down there in the crowd with the rest of us. OK, dive in, the water's fine and the waves are exhilarating!
